David M. Docherty Executive Chairman

David has 45 years experience in evaluating and investing in resource-related public companies dating back to 1965 when he was an analyst with Slater Walker Investments Limited, London.

In 1987 David, in association with business colleagues, founded a Thai gold exploration venture. This venture discovered the gold-mineralised ‘A Prospect’ at Chatree in central Thailand in 1989 (now being mined).

The discovery led to the development of the Chatree Gold Mine by ASX listed Kingsgate Consolidated Limited in 2000.

From the time Kingsgate first acquired an interest in the Chatree project in 1993, the value of its shares has risen from 6c to as high as $12.30 in 2010, capitalising the company at a peak AUD1.2 Billion (~US$1.2B).

David represents a family-related shareholding in the Company of 33.5% and was appointed a founding Director on 28 February 2002.

Peter T. Costello Non-executive

Peter was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1971.

He became a partner in Flannery Mura and Costello, where he conducted one of the most successful personal injury practices in NSW until 1992.

Peter now consults to law firm Beilby, Poulden and Costello.

He has successfully invested in Australian resource companies over many years and holds a strong interest in the exploration and mining industry.

Peter represents a 7.7% shareholding in the Company and was appointed a founding Director on 28 February 2002.

Kampon Nillapongse Non-executive

Khun Kampon joined the Company as Legal Director in 2008 and was appointed non-executive director of Thai Goldfields NL on 1 December 2011 upon the passing of foundation director Warren Gleeson.

Kampon is responsible for the legal supervision of all statutory, administrative and contractual matters concerning the Company’s activities in Thailand.

He liaises directly with the Department of Primary Industry and Mines concerning exploration licence applications and permit grants.

Prior to joining the Company, Kampon worked in commercial law in the property development and insurance industries.

Kampon graduated as a Batchelor of Law at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University in 1991.

Remuneration

The Directors’ remuneration in respect of services performed since incorporation is paid annually in the form of new fully paid shares in the Company.

The Directors were paid a total remuneration of 490,000 fully paid shares in 2011.
